What is screening?

Screening is the process of collecting, comparing and documenting information in order to verify the facts. Often used is verification (from Latin verus = true/prove the validity of a statement)

Compare Documents

Unlike a reference check screening is a completely independent and impartial process. The object is to search for origin, authenticy and validity.

It is partly a manual process, where sources (i.e. schools or previous employers) are contacted to confirm the contents of a physical document. The document can be a CV, diploma, certificate, license or any other document relevant to our client. This is usually done by contacting the source by phone, e-mail, fax or online systems.

Screening can also be automated data retrieval or by searching the available online databases (i.e. business registers, financial registers, address directories, LinkedIn and open sources).
